Translations with passion

I believe that words have power, and translation actually hinges upon them!

Translation is much more than a simple transposition from one language to the other; it involves communicating effectively into your customer’s native language as well as requiring knowledge of the target culture and market.

Drawing on the skills and experience I acquired over the years as a multilingual foreign sales management assistant, I eventually made the move to freelance translation by undertaking further study and focusing on the fields and services in which I specialise.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Translation with distinction for my thesis which dealt with the Translation and Localization of a Greek tourism website and was subsequently published in recognition of the high mark I achieved. Additionally, I achieved a USA Equivalency Degree for my Bachelor, issued by California University FCE.

I also hold a Diploma in Translation with specialization in Travel and Tourism Translation, Medical Translation, and Translation for the Web; and a Diploma in Business Administration and Foreign Languages.

After obtaining these qualifications I specialised further, achieving certifications in Localization as well as other certifications in Translation and Subtitling.
